Because first journeys matter most
Innovated with parents, designed for peace of mind, every detail was reimagined. How decades of experience and empathy resulted in a breakthrough infant car seat shaped by real parenting journeys.
Setting sail in stormy conditions
Launching a new brand in a turbulent economy is a risky venture. We are immensely proud to have provided the right design strategy and execution to successfully help launch Banshee Marine Audio, the newest player in quality marine speakers.
Professional results aren’t just for pros
Woodworkers of all skill levels can achieve professional-quality results with the right tools and practice. By recognizing the learning curve of novice and hobbyist woodworkers, alongside the demand for speed and precision from professionals, DesignThink and Kreg Tool developed a full line of Kreg Pocket-Hole Jigs and Kreg work stands designed to support every stage of the woodworking journey.
Diversified by Design
We balance our breadth of experience and expertise with our depth of knowledge, providing you with a significant competitive advantage when innovating in today’s dynamic markets.

To support the brand launch for Banshee Marine Audio, we developed best-in-class speakers with a signature VBL.

DesignThink is known for our ability and expertise to develop medical devices and systems that offer intuitive, easy to use ergonomic solutions that address performance requirements that achieve manufacturing criteria and cost targets.

With deep experience and expertise developing juvenile products, our team was up for the task to help Dorel Juvenile Group develop a breakthrough, lightweight infant car seat for their European Maxi-Cosi brand. Please check out the full Case Study in Our Work.

Our design for the DeWalt heavy duty carbon fiber stapler embodies DeWalt’s commitment to power and performance.

DesignThink and Kreg Tool partnered to expand their iconic Pocket Hole Jig into a full line. We addressed various needs for portability and full-featured bench-top units to support various use-case opportunities by novice and professional woodworkers alike.

Tapping into our juvenile products expertise, we developed a comfortable, light-weight kid’s bike seat for Burley.

We are proud to have participated in the development of Spec Ops tools. Spec Ops gives 3% of the sales from each purchase to aid veterans and first responders through non-profit partnerships, direct charitable contributions to organizations, individuals and their families, and event sponsorships to give back to those who serve.

Members of our usability, industrial design, and engineering team are proud to have partnered with Pression on the design and development evolution of the Pression Wave PRO, a non-invasive, cardiac-gated compression therapy called External Counter Pulsation (ECP) which increases circulation and relieves some of the debilitating effects of heart disease.

DesignThink was tasked by Burley to not just develop a new cargo trailer used for hauling gear off the back of a bike, this project represented Burley’s need to showcase their relevance as an innovation leader to the world. The CoHo XC’s intuitive ease of use and purpose-driven design put the 40 year old brand back on the map, attracting serious and recreational riders alike.

When the cost matters! DesignThink was hired by Rubbermaid to develop a standalone refuse bin for the kitchen that not only works well and looks stunning, but one that met stringent cost targets to achieve project viability. Mission accomplished!

DesignThink worked closely with the cross-functional teams at Gojo to develop their soap dispenser with a focus on improving visibility of the available soap. We maximized the window so users and facility maintenance personnel can quickly assess its availably and need for maintenance.

With a focus on intuitive ease of use, ergonomics and comfort, we developed the D-Lite child stroller to celebrate Burley’s 40th anniversary.

As the saying goes, Speed-Quality-Cost, pick two. The team at Rubbermaid needed to deliver all three. Working effectively and efficiently within Newell Brands' formalized development process, our team collaborated to develop an elegant stand-alone trash bin that successfully met specific cost, performance, and schedule criteria. This project was a favorite at DT because of the people we got to meet and work with at Rubbermaid!
