Maximatecc CCPilot VI
Heavy vehicles used in severe-duty environments for industrial agricultural, forestry, or mining are essentially remote factories with round-the-clock duty cycles. A growing area of innovation to increase vehicle uptime is in the development of device computers which are easily configurable by the OEM and the vehicle operator, who is not typically trained in computer programming.
The CCPilot VI promotes an interface that is obvious and simple to understand with appropriate affordances for operators to easily interact with gloved hands. During the early phases of concept exploration our Usability, Industrial Design and Engineering teams collaborated to explore a range of configurations to simplify how operators will interact with the device, provide easy and robust installation and aesthetics that look at home in the vehicle cabin. The result was an efficient and compact design without compromising usability.
